I never thought we would own pet rats, but here we are. My son "saved" four feeder rats from a reptile show because he didn't want them to be eaten. As you can imagine, they didn't come from the best situation and their health wasn't good. I called our vet who treats our dogs and of course, they don't treat rats. I did some research and found Provenance Veterinary Hospital, and I'm glad I did. They are one of the only exotic animal veterinary facilities in the area. In fact, people travel from out of state to bring their animals for treatment. They are amazing! They charged me as if they only treated one animal & gave me medication for all of them! I wasn't expecting that! They also have pretty great hours of operation compared to most clinics in town. We will definitely be bringing all of our pets to them from now on!

My dog had to have acl surgery and I was referred to this clinic. I was extremely impressed with Dr. Sarah Waddell she was so concerned about my dog. Surgery went very good.

As a ferret owner, it can be difficult to find veterinary care for my pet, but this office exceeded all expectations. The veterinary technicians and doctor were incredibly knowledgeable, nice, compassionate, and gentle. They handled my ferret with great care after her injury, and the veterinarian clearly showed me exactly where her wounds were following an efficient exam. They prescribed antibiotics and pain medication that began helping her almost immediately. Even though it was an hour til closing time, they were kind enough to let us make a much-needed appointment, which I truly appreciate. I am SO grateful to the entire team for their professionalism, kindness, and the excellent care they provided for my baby. If you’re a ferret owner like me, this place will take great care and attention of your pets.
